Snake Year 2013

The 'Snake' symbolizes transformation.
Shedding old skin and being born again.
We hope that in the beginning of this new year,
we can all let go of what we don't need and
have a fresh start into the coming future.

私たちの元旦は、二日酔いで始まり、蛇が地面を這うように、

ネットリと過ぎてしまいました。
今年は、一皮脱ぎ、生れ変わった気持ちで

新たな未来を切り開いて行きたいと願っております。
どうぞ、今年もよろしくお願い致します。

Merry Christmas

Hope you are all well.
There is a Japanese tradition that happy greetings (New Year's greetings) shall not be sent out during mourning period.
Unfortunately, my grandmother passed away this Autumn...
Due to the tradition mentioned above, I've decided to go Western this year and am sending you all a BIG merry Christmas!!!

The picture of the children in the card was taken during their bubble bath.
They love bathing and being butt naked!
Now we have two native kids running around the house!!

みな様、ごきげんよう。
この秋、祖母が永眠し、年始の挨拶を失礼させて頂くべきなのですが、それでは西洋的に行こうと、クリスマスカードを送ることにしました！
子供たちの写真は、だーーーい好きなお風呂で撮ったものです。お風呂用バブルが丁度サンタのあご髭のようだったので、アイディアをとりました。
「お風呂！」の一声で、二人とも競争で裸になり、お湯の中へ飛び込みます。
シャチ君はまだ一人では服を脱げないので、「急いで！」と足をバタバタさせ、きりんちゃんは上から奇麗に、まるで脱皮したかのように洋服が残ります。
暴れん坊が二人もいて、賑やかな我が家ですが、これからも益々元気に過ごして行きたいと思います。

卯年 - Rabbit year

とうとう２０１１年の始まりです。
昨年は、我が家に男の子が誕生し、２人の子育てに追われながらも
非常に楽しい一年になりました。

今年はまた、面白い事がたーんとありそうな予感・・・。
